Abstract :The variation of Gamow-Teller and isobaric analogue resonances by the mean field parameters for double magic nuclei such as  and  has been searched within the framework of quasi random phase approximation (QRPA). The nucleon-nucleon effective interaction potential has been defined by considering the commutativity of the Gamow-Teller operator with the central term in the nuclear part of the total Hamiltonian. The effective interaction constant has been found from this commutativity and taken out to be a free parameter.
