Abstract :Santral venöz port kateteri kullanımı uzun dönem tedavi uygulanan malignite hastalarında oldukça kullanışlı bir yöntemdir. Katetere bağlı komplikasyonlardan korunmada kateterin yerleştirilme tekniği ve bakımı önem teşkil etmektedir. En sık görülen komplikasyonlar; derin ven trombozu, port enfeksiyonu, kateter obstrüksiyonudur. Bu makalede nadir bir komplikasyon olan kateterin tümünün ekstravaze yerleştirilmesini takiben ilaç uygulaması sonrası pnömoni gelişen bir olgu tartışılmıştır.
