Abstract :Özet: Araştırmamıza konu olan Kağızman Tuzlası, bir kayatuzu tuzlasıdır. Söz konusu tuzla, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nin Erzurum-Kars Bölümü’nde, Kars İli’nin Kağızman ilçesi sınırları içerisinde yer almaktadır. Tuzla ilçe merkezine 7 km uzaklıkta olup, denizden yüksekliği 1260 m’dir. İşletme ülkemizde üretim yapılan 6 kayatuzu işletmesinden biri olup, oda-topuk sistemiyle üretim yapılmaktadır. Tuzladan 2002 yılı itibariyle 6807 ton tuz pazarlanmıştır. Çıkarılan tuzun %92-96’sı NaCl’den oluşurken, ancak %2-6’lik kısmı suda erimeyen maddelerden oluşmaktadır. This saltpan is located within the town boundaries of Kağızman in the city of Kars in the Erzurum-Kars part of the East Anatolia Region. The saltpan is 7 km away from the town center and its altitude is 1260 m. It is one of the 6 saltpan workings currently in operation. The production is done with the room-heel system. In 2002, 6807 tons of salt were obtained from the saltpan. %92-96 of the salt mined is NaCl, while %2-6 are the insoluble matters in water.
