Abstract :Crisis trends in the global financial market have led to radical changes in the development of both the financial market of Kazakhstan and its Deposit sector, which, in turn, necessitates a review of the concept of development, which depends on the financial stability and competitiveness of the national economy. The article examines the role and place of the Deposit market in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the currency component of deposits of individuals; assesses the coordinating role of the Kazakhstan Deposit guarantee Fund.
