Abstract :Bu çalışmada, yabancı doğrudan yatırımların (YDY) Türkiye’de işsizlik üzerindeki etkisi, 2000:Q1–2009:Q4 dönemi verileri kullanılarak; sınır testi yaklaşımıyla araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın ampirik bulgularına göre, uzun dönemde YDY ile işsizlik arasında istatistiki açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki çıkmamıştır. Kısa dönem analizinde ise, YDY’nin işsizliği, cari dönemde arttırmasına rağmen, iki dönem sonra azalttığı bulgusu tespit edilmiştir
