Abstract :The increasing world population and developing technology, the necessity of meeting needs with limited resources, has made material use and waste management necessary. This is also a necessity in terms of ecological balance and environmental awareness such as preventing global warming. The process that started with waste management has been taken to a more advanced level and has led to the development of zero waste policies in manufacturing. In this cycle, where processes such as material selection, use, reuse of waste for same or another purpose, recycle and disposal for environmental reasons are monitored in the context of circular economy and sustainability, models ranging from product design and material selection to the appropriate use of applied techniques and energy resources are developed and adaptation to the circular economy model is aimed. In this study, material management in circular economy, selection of reusable materials for the same purpose, or biodegradable materials product design, planning of manufacturing, making the technologies used efficient, using the wastes generated in the production process as raw materials for another propose, recycling of products that have reached the end of their lifespan and evaluating the wastes generated were investigated and the studies conducted in this field were analyzed bibliometrically.
