Abstract :The main purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive summary of studies addressing the relationship between Industry 4.0 and sustainable development. The study analyzes the status of literature, its geographical distribution, influential studies, productive authors, main trends, and research gaps. A science mapping was carried out using word cluster analysis and keyword co-occurrence analysis to examine the intellectual framework of the subject and identify emerging research trends. Data were collected from the Web of Science academic database, encompassing 653 scientific articles published in English between 2017 and 2024. This article summarizes the status of a subject of great academic and societal importance and provides a valuable framework to guide future research.
