Abstract :Uşak, bitki çeşitliliği yönünden dikkati çekecek ölçüde zenginlik göstermektedir. Bununla beraber Uşak halkı onları gerektiğinde “em” yapmış, yerine göre de yem yapmış. Yemek pişirmiş, yemek yanında salata olarak kullanmış... Kısaca Uşak’ta bitkilerle insanlar -olması gerektiği gibi- iç içeler. Bu çeşitliliğin miktarını bir nebze tespit için bu sözlük hazırlanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Bitki adları, şifalı bitki, insan topluluğu This study surveyed the names of plants especially the use of plants for medical purposes in the region of Uşak. There are thousand kinds of plants grown in Anatolian penunsula. İn most cases, different name are used for the same plant in different regions. İt is hoped that this study would contribute tostudies dealing whith plants that are used for medical purposes. Keywords: Names of plants, healing plants, the common people
