Abstract :Bu çalışmada kırâat ilmi ile alakalı klasik ve modern kaynaklardan yola çıkarak bu ilmin temel kavramı olan kırâat kelimesinin lügavî ve ıstılahî anlamları ile birlikte kırâat âlimlerinin ortaya koydukları tarifler incelenmiştir. Ayrıca k-r-e maddesinden türemiş kırâat kavramları ve benzer manaları ifade eden ilgili terimler üzerinde durularak bu ilmin konularının muhtevasının ve ihâtasının sınırları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Makale iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kırâat ve kırâat İlminin tanımı ele alınmış olup kırâatin oluşum ve gelişim sürecine de değinilerek tarihsel birikim zikredilmeye gayret edildi. İkinci bölümde ise kırâat ile ilgili bazı kavramların ıstılâhi tanımları verilerek açıklamalı bilgiler verilmeye çalışıldı. Çalışma ile ilgili yurt içinde ve yurt dışında yapılan kırâat birikiminden istifade edilmeye çalışıldı. Hususen klasik kıraat kaynaklarından ve bunun yanı sıra ikincil kaynak denilen son dönemde yapılmış, önemli farklı bakış açıları ve yorumlar içeren zengin kaynaklardan da faydalanmaya çalışıldı. Abstract: In this study, based on the classical and modern sources related to the science of recitation, the definitions put forward by the scholars of recitation were examined together with the lexical and divine meanings of the word recitation, which is the basic concept of this science. In addition, the concepts of recitation derived from the article k-r-e and related terms expressing similar meanings have been emphasized and the limits of the content and ihâta of the subjects of this science have been tried to be determined. The article consists of two parts. In the first part, the definition of recitation and the science of recitation was discussed, and the formation and development process of recitation was also mentioned and historical accumulation was tried to be mentioned. In the second part, it was tried to give explanatory information by giving definitions of some concepts related to recitation. It was tried to benefit from the accumulation of recitation in the country and abroad related to the study. In particular, it was tried to benefit from classical recitation sources, as well as rich sources called secondary sources, which have been made in the recent period and contain important different perspectives and interpretations.
