Abstract :Objective: To investigate the nomophobia scores among nurses and examine the correlation between these scores and caring behaviors. Methods: The descriptive and cross-sectional study sample consisted of 197 nurses working in a private hospital. Data was collected between November 2021 and March 2022. Information form, The Nomophobia Questionnaire, and Caring Behaviors Inventory-24 were data collection tools. Results: The mean age of the participants was 27.14±6.69 years, and the majority were female (80.2%), single (69%), and had a bachelor\\\'s degree or higher (35.5%). The daily duration of cell phone use was 6.05±4.03, and daily internet use was 5.05±3.95. The mean nomophobia score was found to be \\\"moderate\\\" at 80.37±23.99, while the mean score for caring behaviors was high at 5.53±0.56. A significant correlation was found between nomophobia and factors such as age, years of employment, work unit, shifts, and mobile phone usage habits (p<0.05). There was a statistically significant weak negative correlation between the care behaviors and the nomophobia (p<0.05). Conclusion: Among nurses, higher nomophobia scores were associated with lower caring behavior scores. It is recommended to develop coping strategies for nomophobia, particularly for young nurses working in shift-based environments.
