Abstract :Bu çalışmada, Acid Yellow 36 (AY36) boyar maddesinin Fenton ve Fenton-benzeri oksidasyon yöntemi ile giderimi araştırılmıştır. Oksidasyon prosesine pH, demir (Fe 0 ve Fe +2 ), hidrojen peroksit (H 2 O 2 ) ve boyar madde konsantrasyonunun etkisi incelenmiştir. AY36 giderimi renk, aromatiklik ve KOI üzerinden izlenmiştir. Fenton ve Fenton-benzeri oksidasyonunda renk aromatiklikten daha fazla giderilmiştir. AY36 boyar maddesinin gideriminde, Fenton-benzeri oksidasyonun Fenton oksidasyon prosesinden daha etkili olduğu bulunmuştur.
