Abstract :Positivism is the most important thought of the 19th century. After the emerging of positivism in the West and its big effects to the past, it is taking too much criticism today. There is an effort of questioning of this in this text. Positivism, getting out of the traditional frame, lets the West to form a new relationship with the east. Todays' criticism of positivism is abundance from this new form of relationship. This is the thesis of this study.
