Beginning with the emergence of printing technology in the 15th century, it demonstrates the interrelation of book print runs with social, economic, and cultural factors. In the modern era, the study examines the marketing-based management of the book market, the study of readers’ psychological and social demands, and the impact of electronic and digital publications on print run planning.
