Abstract :The present article concerns the study of Kyrgyz essay its evolution within the history of Kyrgyz Journalistic and what literary and aesthetic achievements it has reached. A close scrutiny of the problem relating such genre as Literary Essay, which has deep-rooted and existed in Kyrgyz Literature as well as in Journalistic, reveals definite information about when and by whom it was introduced into the Literature sphere first, what achievements have been made since that time and how it develops now. However, it has been proved that there are few professional journalists, who are aware in this field and who are able to provide the society with necessary information about the related topic. However, having studied this genre with all its stages it has passed and the successes it has achieved as a literary work, we came to conclusion that Essay as any literary genre is of a high topicality and needs a close research.
