Abstract :Bu makalede antik çağ ve orta çağlar boyunca hastalıkların teşhis ve tedavisinde sıkça başvurulan “melothesia” yaklaşımı ana hatlarıyla ele alınmaktadır. Buna ek olarak makale insan vücudunun her bir bölgesinin ya da organının belirli bir göksel cismin yönetiminde olduğu inancına dayanan bu yaklaşımın tarihsel gelişimini ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır.
