Abstract :The aim of this study is to analyze the studies on inquiry-based learning between 2019 and 2024. Thematic content analysis was preferred as the method of the study. In this direction, specific studies in the databases were examined according to the variables of publication year, publication type, purpose of the research, study group, research method, research design, data collection tool, data analysis method and findings. The first scan was conducted on 20/11/2023 and the last scan was conducted on 10/07/2024. The study included 32 theses and 71 articles. In the study, it was determined that the studies based on inquiry-based learning were mostly in the form of articles, and the most studies were conducted in 2019. It was seen that the studies were carried out in all designs, especially quantitative research design and quasi-experimental design, mostly involving middle school students and focusing on courses such as science and technology. Another finding was that data collection tools such as scales and semi-structured interview forms were used in the studies, and methods such as t-test and content analysis were utilized. When the analyzed variables were examined, it was seen that various variables, especially academic achievement and science process skills, were addressed.Keywords : eğitim, sorgulamaya dayalı öğrenme, tematik içerik analizi
