Abstract :Learning management systems (LMS) are information and communication technologies (ICT) that help improve the efficiency of learning activities and are necessary for the transformation of education from traditional teaching methods to digital format and virtual learning environments. The undeniable importance of LMS systems in education has led to a massive increase in the number of use of these systems that provide different types of learning management services. Therefore, the evaluation of learning management systems is vital to ensure effective use and positive impacts on learning, both for professors and students. Based on a literature review, this paper includes a comprehensive overview of the development of the usability testing process for learning management systems. As a case study for this paper, the “e-professor” platform used by the AAB College in Kosovo was treated, in order to research the real experiences of professors while using this platform. The research within this paper was carried out in the campus of the AAB College in Pristina and the professors of several different faculties and some heads of departments were included in the research. In this context, both the quantitative and the qualitative components of the research are simultaneously framed in the case study. The purpose is to ascertain the real state of use of this platform and through testing its usability, good practices are identified, as well as delays of the platform are initiated, in accordance with user requirements. If these advancements in the platform are realized according to the users’ requirements, then the positive impact on raising the level of satisfaction and motivation to use the platform is inevitable. The results of this research can be put at the service of the staff who administer the platform, at the service of all professors and students who use this platform, as well as at the service of all those interested in continuing research in this field.
