Abstract :Located in a key position in the Caspian Sea region, Kazakhstan plays an important role in the global energy arena due to its proximity to large energy reserves and access to multiple transportation routes for energy exports. This article will discuss Kazakhstan's strategic position, the importance of energy resources in global competition, the challenges and opportunities it faces in energy wars and competition. The country's location provides it with access to vast energy reserves in the estimated Caspian Sea, where significant amounts of oil and natural gas deposits are believed to be located. Its proximity to these reserves provides Kazakhstan with a strategic advantage in terms of energy production and export. With the presence of hydrocarbon reserves, Kazakhstan ranks 13th in the world. The hydrocarbon factor plays an important role not only in Kazakhstan's economic development, but also in expanding its diplomatic and international positioning. Furthermore, Kazakhstan's geographical location allows it access to multiple transportation routes, including pipelines, railways, and ports, for energy exports. This diverse transportation infrastructure network enhances Kazakhstan's energy security by providing multiple options for exporting energy resources to international markets. This connection also makes Kazakhstan a vital player in global energy trade as it serves as a key link between energy producers in Central Asia and consumers in Europe and beyond. In the context of energy wars and competition for energy resources, Kazakhstan's significant oil and natural gas reserves make it an important player in the global energy arena. The country's energy resources have attracted the interest of major energy-consuming countries, leading to competition for access to Kazakhstan's energy reserves. This competition has not only economic implications, but also geopolitical consequences as it affects alliances and power dynamics in the region.Given its heavy dependence on energy exports for economic growth and stability, energy security is a top priority for Kazakhstan. The country actively seeks to diversify its energy export routes in order to minimize the risk of disruptions and ensure a stable revenue stream from its energy resources.The research was conducted based on secondary sources and literature review. Existing information was gathered from academic articles, reports, industry analyses, and other secondary sources and evaluated. Information from various sources was systematically examined and interpreted in terms of main themes and trends. By bringing together different perspectives from the existing literature, the aim was to create a common understanding.
