Abstract :The “Turkic Corridor” is an emerging geopolitical framework, conceptual system or politico-economic perspective on several subordinate dimensions of Turkic states in the Middle and West Asia, mainly including culture, politics and economy. As the most vital state in “Turkic Corridor”, Turkey is increasingly becoming an indispensable research topic in Chinese-speaking academia, and the epistemology and methodology of Turkish studies would be expectedly upgraded. Meanwhile, along with some changes of international environment Turkish Middle Corridor Initiative (MCI) could harmonise with Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which is increasing more dimensions and fields of cooperation between China and Turkic states. For possible realistic interest needs in the future, this paper aims to answer some understudied questions as follows: What is the “Turkic Corridor” and how do Chinese scholars research on “Turkic Corridor” -related topics, especially Turkish studies based on present mainstream research in Chinese academic journals? How could the concept of “Turkic Corridor” contribute to international-regional cooperation in future? Through a statistical analysis of “Turkic Corridor”, this conceptual system tries to contribute to the Middle Asian development in an innovative approach for the future policy making.
