Abstract :Müslüman, Yunan, Ermeni ve Yahudi gibi cemaatlerle birlikte Levanten denilen Avrupalıların birlikte yaşadığı kozmopolit bir kent olan İzmir`de, toplumun sosyal yapısı ve kültürü ile şekillenmiş çeşitli konut yapıları mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada İzmir Kemeraltı konutları cephe ve süsleme özellikleri ile değerlendirilerek farklı türler ve bu türlere ait çeşitli alt varyasyonlar oluşturulmuş, İzmir`in konut stoğu hakkında genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
