Abstract :Bu çalışmada, Türkiye`de ihracat ve GSMH arasındaki ilişki kointegrasyon yöntemi kullanılarak 1955-2002 dönemi için incelenmiştir. Hata düzeltme yöntemi ve nedensellik testlerinden yararlanılarak ihracat ve GSMH arasındaki ilişkinin yönü tespit edilmiştir. Test sonuçlarından, GSMH`den ihracata yönelik tek taraflı bir nedenselliğin olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu anlamda GSMH ihracatın Granger nedenidir. Bu çerçevede Türkiye`de sürdürülebilir bir büyüme ortamını sağlayacak politikaların ihracat performansı için önemli bir unsur olduğu ifade edilebilir.
