Abstract :Sustainability and growth are frequently examined in conjunction within the literature, offering a comprehensive framework. Sustainability refers to the preservation, upkeep, and perpetuation of essential forms, requirements, and associated resources, whereas development is an economic concept that typically denotes the economic advancement of developing nations. The United Nations\\\' Sustainable Development Goals are categorized into seventeen areas designed to address present requirements while considering the demands of future generations. This study aims to assess pre-service teachers\\\' awareness of sustainable development goals. The study employed a phenomenological approach, a qualitative research method, and the research participants included pre-service teachers in elementary education, social studies, and science. The findings indicate that pre-service teachers possess a general awareness of sustainable development goals; nevertheless, there are shortcomings in their understanding of the specifics of these goals. Furthermore, it was determined that the environmental theme was the most prominent aspect of awareness regarding sustainable development goals.Keywords : Sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri, öğretmen adayı, sosyal bilgiler, sınıf öğretmenliği, fen bilgisi, farkındalık.
