Abstract :This research aims to examine the perspectives of teachers working with gifted students on the use of Google Classroom. A case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed. The study was conducted with 18 full-time and part-time teachers at the Enderun Talented Children Center in the Bağcılar district of Istanbul. A semistructured interview form, prepared via Google Forms, was shared with the teachers through e-mail, and data were collected through the form. While teachers’ perspective on using Google Classroom in education are predominantly positive, the number of teachers expressing negative views is also significant. Factors contributing to these negative perceptions include adaptation issues, student disinterest, delays in task submissions, and socioeconomic challenges. Teachers have expectations for the platform to facilitate student tracking and to allow collective access to student work from a single platform. However, there is less expectation regarding the platform’s ability to instill systematic work skills and a sense of responsibility in students. This is believed to be related to teachers coding the platform merely as a “task assignment” tool. When asked about the impact of Google Classroom usage on the relationship and cooperation among stakeholders, teachers held positive views. They mentioned factors such as improved communication, potential communication challenges for younger age groups, and the ease with which parents can monitor their children’s progress. It was also noted that, due to serving in a socioeconomically mid-to-low level region, it might not be feasible to manage this system as expected with every student and parent. Keywords : Google Classroom, üstün yetenekli öğrenciler, öğretmenler.
