Abstract :Objective: Tuberculosis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(TB); is still a significant public health problem in developing and developed countries. Tuberculous lymphadenitis is the most common form of TB among extrapulmonary TB patients. Cervical region lesions can be confused with other lymphadenopathy diseases, making diagnosis difficult. Case report: A 26-year-old male patient with no known disease presented to our Emergency Service with complaints of swelling on his neck that had been growing steadily for several weeks. Tuberculosis bacillus was detected when a lymph node biopsy was taken and examined from the patient, whose lymphadenitis was thought to be in the foreground. Conclusion: This article aims to emphasize that tuberculosis infection, which is a specific infectious agent, should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the case presenting with cervical swelling. The diagnosis can be made quickly with a simple and inexpensive imaging method such as ultrasound.
