The anticancer activity of chalcone compounds against human prostate carcinoma cell and human colon colorectal adenocarcinoma

Abstract :The anticancer activities 3-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(substituted phenyl);-1-[4-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(morpholine-4-yl);phenyl]prop-2-en-1-one derivatives were investigated against PC3 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Human Prostate Carcinoma Cell); and HT29 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Human colon colorectal adenocarcinoma); cell lines. The anticancer activity tests were performed by the BrdU ELISA method. 5-Fluorouracil insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5-FU); was used as standard compound. Compound 1-7 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(except Compound 3); were determined to have higher anticancer activity than 5-FU aganist PC3 cancer cells. IC50 values of the Compounds 1-7 against PC3 cancer cells were 2.53±0.02 µM; 4.40±0.03 µM; 4.36±0.03 µM; 1.76±0.02 µM; 1.78±0.03 µM; 2.31±0.03 µM, respectively.
