Abstract :This study aimed to test the influence of critical thinking ability towards the learning outcomes of the students at SMPK Stella Maris Biudukfoho. The process of collecting the sample of the experimental classroom I and the experimental classroom II was by using the cluster random sampling technique. The subject of this study numbered 60 students of Class VIII Year 2018/2019. The used instrument was the test instrument to measure the critical thinking ability and the learning outcomes of the knowledge aspec t, the non - test instrument in the form of questionnaire that was used to measure attitude, while the observation sheet was used to measure the students’ skills. The data was analyzed using the simple regression equation. The result of the research showed t hat there was no influence of the critical thinking ability towards the learning outcomes
