Abstract :Abstract: The genus Valeriana insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Valerianaceae); is represented by more than 350 species worldwide. In Turkey, it comprises about 17 species, of which 4 are endemic. The studies on these species are limited in consequence of a small number of the species in Turkey. It is aimed to evaluate them chemically and medicinally and determine the possibility of new studies. Keywords: Valeriana, Turkey, medicinal evaluation
