Abstract :Metil-4-fenilüreido-2-hidroksibenzoatın benzoil türevi, metü-4-fenilüreido-2-hidroksibenzoatm benzoil klorürle piridin-eter vasatında muamelesi neticesinde hazırlanmıştır. Yapısını aydınlatmak maksadile, O-benzoü türevi sodium hidroksidin sudaki eriyiği ile ısıtılmış ve eriyik asidlendirildikten sonra eterle ekstre edilmiş, eterin distilasyonunu müteakip, benzoik asid süblimasyonla tecrid edilmiştir. Ayrıca, maddenin UV spektrumu alınmış ve 289 m/i da konsantrasyonu ile absorbansı arasındaki münasebet tetkik edilmiştir. Maddenin yapısı, elemanter analiz neticeleri ile ispat edilmiştir.
