Abstract :This study briefly focuses on the history of landscape architecture education. It examines the initiatives preceding the formal establishment of the field, including early attempts and the official opening of academic programs. The study highlights the contributions of pioneering figures who played essential roles in shaping the education process. It addresses changes in curriculum and pedagogy over time, particularly the influence of modernism and the integration of sustainability into the discipline. Additionally, it explores the challenges and innovations within landscape architecture education, such as the impact of the digital age, the growth of interdisciplinary approaches, and the expansion of the professional sphere.
