Abstract :ABSTRACT Purpose: This study aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership orientations among university students. Design and Methods: This study had a descriptive comparative design. The research data were collected using the \"Semi-Structured Question Form,\" the \"Emotional Intelligence Scale,\" and the \"Leadership Orientations Scale.\" Findings: Results showed that a significant positive relationship was determined between emotional intelligence level and leadership orientations in students in the fields of health, social, and science. Practice Implications: It is important to develop students\' emotional intelligence levels and leadership orientations.
