Abstract :Ö Z E T Bu çalışmanın amacı, yapılandırmacı yaklaşımı esas alan 2005 Coğrafya dersi programına uygun hazırlanmış ve Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı’ndan onay almış, ortaöğretim Coğrafya ders kitaplarını metin türleri ve özellikleri açısından incelemektir. Bu çalışmada da içerik analizi yöntemi uygulanarak günümüzdeki ortaöğretim Coğrafya ders kitaplarında yer alan edebi ürünler araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. 2005 Coğrafya öğretim programı öncesi hazırlanan ortaöğretim Coğrafya ders kitaplarında şiir, karikatür, biyografi, hikâye, röportaj gibi edebi ürünlere neredeyse hiç yer verilmemekteydi. Bunun en önemli nedeni davranışçı yaklaşıma göre hazırlanan ders kitaplarında bu edebi ürünler sadece Türkçe ve Edebiyat derslerinin ana materyali gibi düşünülmekteydi. Yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma göre hazırlanan Coğrafya dersi öğretim programı ile birlikte edebi metinler Coğrafya ders kitaplarında da kullanılmaya başlandı. Eskiye oranla büyük gelişme olsa da, günümüzde ortaöğretim Coğrafya ders kitapları olarak okutulan ders kitaplarının bu edebi ürünler insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(metin türleri); açısından zengin olduğu söylenemez. Anahtar Kelimeler: Coğrafya, Coğrafya Öğretimi, Edebi Metinler, Coğrafya Ders Kitabı AB S T R AC T The purpose of this study is to analyze secondary education Geography course books in terms of their text types and text properties which have been approved by Head Council of Education and Morality and prepared in accordance with 2005 Geography curriculum based upon constructivist approach. In this study, literary texts that take place within secondary education Geography course books have been tried to be researched performing content analysis method. In secondary education Geography course books that were prepared before 2005 Geography curriculum, there were not included literary genres such as poem, cartoon, biography, story and interview. The most important reason of this that those literary genres have only been thought as the main material of Turkish and Literature courses in course books prepared according to behavioral approach. Along with the Geography curriculum prepared in accordance with the constructivist approach, literary texts have been started to be used in Geography course books, as well. Although there is a great improvement in contrast to old times, there cannot be said that course books studied as secondary Education Geography course books are not affluent in terms of those literary genres insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(text types);.
