Abstract :Ö Z E T 1983 yılında Howard Gardner tarafından ortaya atılan ve eğitimciler tarafından büyük ve olumlu ilgi gören Çoklu Zeka Kuramı’nda öğrencilerin bireysel farklılıkları göz önüne alınarak eğitim verilmesi gerektiği ilkesi benimsenmiştir. Bireysel farklılıkların temele alındığı bir öğrenme-öğretme sürecinde, farklı yollarla öğrenen bireylerin varlığının kabulü, farklı yollarla öğretim anlayışını da beraberinde getirmektedir. Kuramda sadece sayısal ve sözel olarak başarılı olanların değil, müzikte, sporda, dansta, iletişimde, doğada, resimde de kendini gösterenlerin ve kendini iyi tanıyanların da zeki olduğu öne sürülmüştür. Bu da ancak eğitimcilere yeni bir bakış açısı kazandıran ve her bireyin farklı olduğunu vurgulayan Çoklu Zeka Kuramını uygulamakla mümkün olacaktır. Gardner in 1983 and drew many educationists’ attention, the idea that students’ individual differences should be considered in the process of education has been adopted. In an educational process in which individual differences are considered, the recognition of presence of the students who learn in different ways results in diverse teaching methods as well. In this theory, not only the students who are successful in quantitative and verbal fields but also the ones who are good at music, sports, dance, communication, nature, and painting are also argued to be intelligent. This can be only possible when the Multiple Intelligences Theory, which acquires new perspectives to the educators and highlights each person is different, is realized.
