Abstract :SUMMARY In this study urinary sediments of 40 cases, classified in two groups of 20 patients each, were stained with. Wright technique and examined under light microscope. In the urinary sediments of patients with glomerular lesions red cells manifested anisocytosis, poikilocytosis and obvious hypochromia whereas those with non - glomerular lesions showed identical microscopic findings alike peripheric blood smears.
