Abstract :SUMMARY The Q-switched Neodymium: YAG laser insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Nd: YAG); was used to perform iridotomies in albino and pigmented rabbits. 32 iridotomies were attempted. Potency rates in albino and normal irides were similar. Energy levels of 4.1 mj. or greater resulted in a higher rate of potency. The histology of acute Q - switched Nd: YAG iridotomy ise characterized by fragmentation of stroma and wide dispersion of the pigment epithelium. Özet O-switched Neodymium : YAG insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Nd : YAG); laser albino ve pigmentli tav¬şanlarda iridotomi meydana getirmek için uygulanmıştır. 32 iridotomi te¬şebbüsünde bulunulmuştur. Pigmenli veya albino irislerdeki açıklık oran¬ları aynıdır. 4.1. mj. veya daha büyük enerji ile daha yüksek açıklık oranlari sağlanmıştır. Akut Q - switched Nd : YAG laser iridotominîn histolo¬jik bulguları, stromal parçalanma ve pigment epitelinin çevreye dağılımı ile karakterizedir.
