Abstract :SUMMARY ADENOCARCINOMA OF THE SMALL BOWEL AS A COMPLICATION OF CROHN`S DISEASE A case of adenocarcinoma of the ileum, occuring in an area concomitantly the site of Crohn`s disease, is described. Examination of the literature suggest that there are certain characteristics of the small bowe11 carcinoma which axises in Crohn`s disease. The finding that these tumours have certain characteristics is taken as evidence that carcinoma is a complication of Crohn`s disease of the small bowell. ÖZET Bu yazımızda Crohn`s hastalığı ile birlikte ileal adenokarsinom saptadığımız bir olgu sunulmuştur. Literatürü de incelediğimizde, Crohn`s hastalığında ortaya çıkan ince bağırsak karsinomlarının kendilerine has özellikler taşıdığı ve Crohn`s hastalığının bir komplikasyonu olarak geliştikleri kanaatine varılmıştır.
