Abstract :SUMMARY BACTERIOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION IN CHRONIC SUPPURATIVE OTITIS MEDIA Our study comprise 60 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media who were evaluated at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Medical School, ENT Department. The aerob and anaerob culture samples were taken from external ear canal preoperatively and from mastoid antrum, tympanic cavity during surgery. The culture results have been discussed and literature was reviewed. Key wards: Chronic otitis media, bacteriology. ÖZET Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kulak-Burun Boğaz Klini¬ğine başvuran kronik süpüratif otitis media tanısı alan, ameliyat öncesi dışkulak yolu ve ameliyat esnasında mastoid antrum ve timpanik kaviteden kültür numuneleri alınan 60 hastanın 62 kula¬ğının kültür sonuçları değerlendirildi ve literatür gözden geçi¬rildi.
