Abstract :The Prevalence of Refraction Anomalies and Other Eye Diseases in a Primary School of Rural Origin. To find out the prevalence of refraction anomalies and other eye diseases in a primary school of rural origin a survey was planned. In Çatalçam village primary school, 170 male, 150 female students were examined. 21.87 % of 320 students had refraction anomalies. The prevalence of strabismus was 2.18 % the prevalence of amblyopia was 4.68 %. part from these findings 16 students had infectious konjonktivitis, 7 students had nystagmus and 1 student had congenital eye anomaly.
