Abstract :SUMMARY THE INVESTIGATION OF MAST CELLS UNDER THE LIGHT MICROSCOPE This study was carried out to investigate the mast cells of the rat and rabbit under the light microscope. The sections were fixed in Susa and alcohol - formalin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(9/10 absoiu alcohol and 1/10 formaldehyd); solutions. Preparations were stained by using the methods of toluidine blue, Dominici, resorcin fuchsin, astra blue-safranin 0 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(pH 2,3); and Giemsa„ In rabbits the mast cells couldn`t be observed. In tongue, eusophagus, stomach, small intestine and lenf node of rat, the mast cells were seen by means of all the staining methods. The results were discussed with the present literature. ÖZET Bu çalışma sıçan ve tavşan mast hücrelerinin ışık mikros¬kobu düzeyinde araştırılmaları için yapıldı. Materyaller, susa, alkol-fonnalin solüsyonlarında tesbit edildi. Preparatlar, toluidine mavisi, Dominici, resorcin fuchsin, astra blue-safranin O insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(pH 2,3); ve Giemsa boyama yöntemleri ile boyandı. Tavşanda mast hücreleri gözlenemedi. Sıçanların dil, özefagus, mide, ince barsaklar ve lenf düğümlerinde mast hücre¬leri bütün boyama yöntemleri ile gözlendi. Bulgular kaynak bilgiler ile karşılaştırılarak tartışıldı.
