Abstract :v`The value of diagnostic methods in AION has been discussed. It seems that Erythrocyte se¬dimentation rate, visual field testing, Fundus Flourescein Angiography are practical and val¬uable methods in diagnosis and follow up of response to treatment. The use of Corticoster¬oids and glaucoma drugs in the treatment of AION has been discussed. ✓Anterior iskemik optik nöropati insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(AİON); orta yaş üzeri popülasyonda önemli bir körlük ne¬denidir. AION nin patogenezinin anlaşılmasında son yıllarda önemli ilerlemeler kaydedil-miştir. Çalışmada, AİON nin etyoloji ve patogenezi yeri literatür bulguları ışığında tartışıldı.
