Abstract :Frequency of congenital malformation in Ankara region of Turkey ✓ Between 1985-1990, 133974 newborn babies who were born in Ankara Maternity Hospital resulting from pregnancies of 28 or more weeks were reviewed retrospectively to find out the incidence of various congenital malformations. Of the 13397 babies, 567 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.2/1000); showed gross congenital anomalies which is a low value compared to previous results from Turkey. In the study central nervous system anomalies were the highest similar to previous report by Say et al. ✓ 1985-1990 yıllarında Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Kadın Hastanesinde 28 hafta veya daha uzun gebelik süresi sonunda doğan 133974 bebek, gros kongenital anomali varlığı bakımından retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Toplam 133974 bebeğin 567`sinde insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.2/1000); gros konjenital anomali saptandı. Bu değer ülkemizden daha önce rapor edilen değerlere göre daha düşüktü. Araştırmada santral sinir sistemi anomalileri en sık rastlanılan anomali gru¬bunu oluşturmaktaydı insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.2/1000);. Bu değer ülkemizdeki eski değere uygunluk göstermekteydi.
