Abstract :QUANTITATIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HAND PREFERENCE AND DURATIONS OF RIGHT-AND LEFT-EAR HEARINGS IN RIGHT-AND LEFT-HANDED SUBJECTS. / This study was performed in 56 high school male students insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(48 right-handed and 8 left-handed);. The relationships between hand-preference and durations of hearing by means of bone and airways were investigated. In right-handed subjects, significant positive linear correlations were found between durations of hearings by means of bone and airway in right ear and hand preference insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(r=0.35, t=2.53, d.f.= 46, p=0.01; r=0.31, t=2.22, d.f.=46, p=0.03, respectively);. However, only marginally significant correlations were detected between durations of hearing by means of bone and airway in left ear and hand preference insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(r=0.25, t=1.75, d.f.= 46, p=0.08; r=0.24, t=1.67, d.f.=46, p=0.1, respectively);. In addition, significant negative linear correlations were found between durations of hearing by means of bone and airway in right ear and hand preference in left handed subjects insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(r=-0.88, t=-4.67, d.f.=6 p=0.003; r=-0.84, t=-3.76, d.f.=6, p=0.009);. Significant negative linear correlations were detected between durations of bone and airway hearings in left ear and hand preference in the some subjets insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(r=-0.98, t= -12.85, d.f.=6, p=0.00001; r=-0.93, t=-6.48, d.f.=6, p=0.0006 respectively);. ✓ Bu çalışmada, 48 sağlak ve 8 solak olmak üzere 56 erkek lise öğrencisinde el tercihi ile sağ ve sol kulak kemik ve hava yolu işitme süreleri arasındaki ilişkiler araştırıldı. Sağlaklarda sağ kulak kemik ve hava yolu işitme süreleri ile el tercihi arasında anlamlı pozitif lineer ilişkiler bulundu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(sırası ile; r=0.35, t= 2.53, s.d..= 46, p=0.01; r= 0.31, t=2.22, s.d.=46, p=0.03);. Bununla birlikte sol kulak kemik ve hava yolu ile işitme süreleri ile el tercihi arasında sadece sınırda anlamlı ilişkiler bulundu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(sırası ile; r=0.25, t=1.75, s.d.=46=46, p=0.08; r=0.24, t=1.67, s.d.= 46, p=0.1);. Solaklarda ise sağ kulak kemik ve hava yolu işitme süreleri ile el tercihi arasında anlamlı negatif lineer ilişkiler bulundu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(sırası ile;r=-0.88, t=-4.67, s.d.=6, p=0.003; r=-0.84, t=-3.76, s.d= 6, p=0.009);. Sol kulak kemik ve hava yolu işitme süreleri ile el tercihi arasında ise oldukça yüksek düzeyde anlamlı ilişkiler bulundu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(sırası ile r=-0.98, t=-12.85, s.d.=6, p=0.00001;r=-0.93, t=-6.48, s.d.=6, p=0.0006);.
