Abstract :DIAGNOSIS AND CURRENT MANAGEMENT OF THE HELLP SYNDROME: A CASE REPORT ✓ The HELP syndrome that is seen in about 10% of patients with severe preeclampsia-eclampsia describes patients with hemolytic anemia, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet count. This syndrome is frequently misdiagnosed as acute fatty liver of pregrancy, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ITP);, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(TTP);, or hemolytic uremic syndrome insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HUS);. Althought reversal of the laboratory parameters has been reported with some medical regimens, because of high maternal and fetal mortality, most authorities agree that the patients with the HELLP syndrome necessitate aggressive therapy, including delivery. In this article, we presented a case fitting the HELLP syndrome, and reviewed the diagnosis and current management methods for pregrants with the HELP syndrome. Ağır preeklampsi ve eklampsilerin yaklaşık % 10 kadarında görülün HELLP sendromu; hemolitik anemi, yükselmiş serum karaciğer enzim düzeyleri ve düşük trombosit sayısı ile karakterizedir. Bu sendromun tanısı; gebeliğe bağlı akut yağlı karaciğer, idiopatik trombositopenik purpura, trombotik trombositopenik purpura ve hemolitik üremik sendrom ile sıklıkla karışır. Her ne kadar bazı tıbbi uygulamalar ile sendromun bulgularının geriye döndüğü rapor edilmişse de yüksek maternal ve fetal mortalite nedeniyle, çoğu yazarlar HELLP sendromlu hastalarda doğumu da içeren agressif tedavi gerekliliğini belirtmektedirler. Bu makalede, HELLP Sendromu bulgularını içeren bir olgu sunduk ve HELLP sendromlu gebelerde güncel tanı ve tedavi yöntemlerini gözden geçirdik.
