Abstract :In this study, anaesthesia procedures were examined in 33956 patients with the epide-miological properties of anaesthesia and surgery at department of Anesthesiology of the Medicine Faculty of 19 Mayıs University, between the years 1978 and 1993. It`s applied general anaesthesia %91, regional anaesthesia %7.9, light general anaesthesia+regional anaesthesia %1 and sedation %0.1 of the cases. In conclusion, it was observed that gene-ral anaesthesia was the most administrated procedure. Key words: Anaesthesia procedures, retrospective results. Bu çalışmada Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anabilim Dah`nın kurulduğu 1978 yılından 1993 yılına kadar 33956 olguya uygulanan anestezi yöntemleri, anestezi ve cerrahiye ait epidemiyolojik özellikler gözönüne alınarak retrospektif olarak incelendi. %91 oranla genel anestezinin, %7.9 oranla bölgesel anestezinin, %1 oranla yüzeyel genel anes-tezi+bölgesel anestezinin ve %0.1 oranla sedasyon uygulandığı saptadı. Sonuçta; anestezi yöntemlerinden en çok genel anestezinin uygulandığı görüldü.
