Abstract :Epidural Steroid Injections for Low Back Pain |/ Low back pain can be caused by inflammation, degeneration, mechanic and traumatic ab-normalities and muscular pathologies. The cause of pain is mechanical compression with compression of perineural vessels resulting inflammation and edema. Epidural steroid in-jections are recommended in patients with signs and symptoms of nerve root irritation. Kronik bel ağrısı enflamatuar, dejeneratif, yapısal, travmatik ve müsküler patolojiler sonu¬cu oluşabilir. Ağrının nedeni, mekanik kompresyon yanında perinöral damarların kompresyonu sonucu ortaya çıkan enflamatuar değişiklikler ve ödemdir. Epidural steroid enjek¬siyonu sinir kökü irritasyonu varlığında endikedir
