Abstract :ANALYSIS OF EXTERNAL PELVIC MEASUREMENTS IN FEMALE SPORTS EDUCATION STUDENTS insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(An Anthropometric study); 8/ Measurements were performed on 112 young women all actively involved in and receiving academic education on sports, and with an average age of 20. The external pelvic measu-rements; the distance between the iliac crets, anterior-superior iliac spines and the grea¬ter trochanters were found 28.81+0.24, 26.63+0.23, 32.31+0.22 cm respectively. These results in accordance with the corresponding reports, were higher in sporting women as compared with those of who are not involved in sports actively. There were no statistically significant differences regarding the sport branches for any type of measurements insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p>0.05);. We could not detect any significant correlation regarding the distance between the iliac crests and age insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p>0.05);. The distances between the ante¬rior-superior iliac spines and the greater trochanters were significanUy different insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p 0.05);.
