Abstract :Healthcare Workers and AİDS Human Immunodeficiency Virus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HIV); infection can be transmitted by sexual intercouse, blood and blood products, and vertically from infected mother to her offspring. Needle stick injuries and splashing of infectious material to mucosal surface hava been implica¬ted in occupational and nosocomially acquired in HIV transmission. In this review the epi-demiology and preventive strategies of HIV infection in healthcare workers were summari-zed. İğne ile yaralanmalar ve infekte materyalin mukoza yüzeyine teması meslekle ilişkili ve nozokomiyal HIV bulaşmasından sorumludur. Bu der-lemede sağlık personelinde HIV infeksiyonunun epidemiyolojisi ve korunma stratejileri özetlenmiştir.
