Abstract :Kondrosarkom sık rastlanan, radyoterapi ve kemoterapiye duyarlı olmayan malign kemik tümörüdür. Çalışmamızda asıl tedavisi cerrahi olan kondrosarkomlu 28 hastanın klinik sonuçları retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Yirmisekiz olgunun yedisi metastaz ve lokal nüks nedeniyle hayatını kaybederken, üçü metasdaz ve lokal nüks ile hayatını sürdürmektedir. Bu hastaların hepsi cerrahi esnasında sınırların korunmasında güçlükler yaşanan pelvis ve proksimal femur bölgesine yerleşim göstermekteydi. Bu nedenle kondrosarkom olgularında metastaz ve rekürrens riskini en aza indirmenin temel şartı, cerrahi sınırlar korunarak yapılacak olan geniş cerrahi rezeksiyondur. Surgical Treatment Results of Chondrosarcoma Chondrosarcoma is a frequently seen malignant bone tumor that is not sensitive to both radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In this study we have evaluated 28 clinical results of patients retrospectively who are included to this tumor group that is primerly treated surgically. 7 of these 28 patients have died due to metastasis and local recurrence and 3 of these patients in the same situation are alive. Most frequently seen symptom was local pain. All of these cases were located in pelvis and proximal femoral region where there could be problems about surgical margins. We have tried to mention that resection including surgical margins isthe most important point about decreasing the risk of metastasis and recurrenceKeywords :
