Effect of Composted Saline Chicken Manure on The Initial Growth of Corn Plant

Abstract :Effect of composted saline chicken manure insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CM); on emergence of seedling and the initial growth of corn plant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Zea mays L.); was determined. The investigation was carried out under the laboratory conditions and designed as randomly plots with three replications. A 100 g of the mixtures of a clay loam textured soil and CM, in proportion of 0, 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 % insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(w/w); as oven dry basin, was filled in polyethylene pots of 10x5 cm large. After, ten seeds of corn insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LG-60); were sawn into 2 cm depth of pots, control and soil-composted saline chicken manure mixtures were watered with distilled water at about field capacity water content by weight. Seedling emergence and growth properties of the corn plant as length and diameter of the stem; root length; aerial and radicular fresh-dry biomasses; water content of aerial and radicular parts, were used to determine the effect of composted chicken manure on initial growth of the corn plant. After corn plant harvesting were determined pH and electrical conductivity insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EC); values of the control sample and soil-manure mixtures. The adding of composted saline chicken manure to a clay soil was significantly affected to stem length, root length, water content of the root and soil-manure mixture EC. The high-est stem length, root length, water content of the root and EC values were 81.67 mm, 245.5 mm, 82.44 % insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(w/w); and 1.44 dS m-1 in the application rate of 8, 2, 4 and 16 % of CM, respectively. The effects of treatments on the other parameters were not significant by statistically.
