Abstract :This research was conducted to determine the effects of different sowing dates on the yield of nine linseed insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Linum usita-tissimum L.); varieties and populations insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Atalanta, Raulinus, Maroc SM, Avangard, Antares, Sarı-85, P- Kulu, P-Cihanbeyli and P-Halfeti); during 2007 and 2008 growing seasons under Konya conditions. The experiment was de-signed according to the “Split Plots on Randomized Complete Block Experimental Design” with three replications and four different sowing dates insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(April 5-6, April 15-16, April 26-27 and May 6); were taken as factors. In this research; seed yield, crude oil and crude protein yield were determined. In the result of the research, significant statistical differences were found between sowing dates, varieties and populations with respect to investigated characteristics. According to the mean values of years, the highest seed and crude protein yield were obtained from P-Kulu population on April 26 and 27 sowing dates insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1337.0 kg ha-1, 454.0 kg ha-1 and 364.0 kg ha-1, respectively);. In general early and delayed sowing dates resulted in decreased seed and crude oil protein yield. According to results, the growth of linseed was highly affected by the sowing date and climatic conditions. Especially P-Kulu, P-Cihanbeyli, P-Halfeti populations and Sarı-85 were proposed for Konya and similar conditions in terms of yield of the seed, crude oil and crude protein.
