Abstract :Effect of foliar application of zinc as ZnSO4 and Zn EDTA solutions at different levels on grain yield, yield components and some nutrient contents of flag leaves of \\\"Gerek-79\\\" winter wheat variety was investigated in the field under Konya ecological conditions. The grain yield was decreased with ZnSO4 application between 25- 45.9% depending on Zn levels. Although Zn1 level (390.6 g Zn/da) as ZnEDTA caused an increament of 18.1% on grain yield, the grain yield was decreased between 1.6-4.2% by increased Zn levels. Harvest index and 1000 grain weight, as mean of Zn levels, were higher in the ZnEDTA than that of ZnSO4 treatment. These differences were found statistically significant (P < 0.05) . The Zn content of flag leaves increased statistically significant (p < 0.05) by increasing Zn levels in both ZnSO4 and ZnEDTA applications. The Zn content of leaves of ZnSO4 were higher than that of ZnEDTA. Cor- relation coeficients calculated between Zn content of flag leaves and grain yield, harvest index, nitrogen and iron content of leaves were negative and statistically significant (p < 0.01) . A positive and statistically significant correlation (p < 0.01) was found between zinc and potassium content of flag leaves. But correlation between zinc and phosphorus content was negative and insignificant. Keywords : Buğday, dane verimi, verim unsurları
